U11 TRIP TO BALLINCOLLIG, CO CORK June 18 2016
Na Piarsaigh U11’s were recently invited to bring three 11 a side teams to the Joe Delaney Tournament in Ballincollig, Co Cork. With a lot of support from Chris and Johns U10’s and a very influential crew from NAP Camogie – not to mention great support from parents and mentors – the bus headed off early on Saturday 18th June for a great days hurling.
Against the formidable large contingent from James Stephens( Kilkenny), Ballyboden St Endas from Dublin (who have 80 U11’s!), and a sizeable local squad from Ballincollig, NAP acquitted themselves admirably and left with heads held high and much praise from the hosts.
Limited space on the bus meant other supporters, including the Fahys and Halligans drove south and their encouragement was much appreciated
