Liam Kennedy R.I.P

Liam Kennedy

The untimely death has occurred of Liam Kennedy following a short illness.

Liam, a proud Tipperary man and native of Cloughjordan and the famed Kilruan McDonaghs GAA Club.

Liam has been involved with Na Piarsaigh for many years and was instrumental in the setting up of the Summer Camps which are now a massive part of our GAA calendar in the club.

He also played a big part in the underage coaching within the club and brought this knowledge to the Colleges hurling through his involvement with Ard Scoil Ris and the big success enjoyed in Dean Ryan and Harty Cup competitions

Liam served as Na Piarsaigh Senior Hurling manager in the early 2000’s and in the recent years he held the position of Club Treasurer, where he was coordinator of the Club Limerick draw and also ran the Friday night 45 for the past few years.

Liam will be sadly missed by his family Ann, Darragh, Deirdre, Padraic and also his extended Na Piarsaigh GAA Club family
