Our Under 15 hurlers continued their good form with a second win from two starts with victory over Bruff in Pairc Dromguil on Wednesday.
Having overcome Glenroe in Round 1 on a scoreline of 3-8 to 3-6 it was hoped the teams form would continue.
We began very well and got some excellent points from the stick of Marcus Hogan who flashed over 3 excellent first half points before succumbing to injury.
We had further points from Dylan Skehan and Patrick O Neill to register 6 points in the first half but the concession of two soft goals left us trail at the break 2-1 to 0-6.
A very good second half display gave the team fresh imputus and when Dylan Skehan goaled we were in the driving seat. Two further points from frees one each from Dylan Lynch and Dylan Skehan sealed a very good victory on the night.
It was great to have Steven Mitchell back after a long layoff and having played in a number of defensive positions he ended up between the posts in the second half.
We had good displays from Mark O Connor, Kieran Richardson, Niall Barrett, Dylan Lynch and Marcus Hogan whilst overall a big improvement in the team performance.
