Our next questionnaire comes from Dylan Cronin
Name: Dylan Cronin
Position in Club: Intermediate Hurling & Senior Football
First Club Memory: Saturday mornings Street Leagues. I represented Clare that year ☹
Favourite Song: anything Dermot Kennedy!
Favourite Film: The Pursuit of ‘Happyness’
Favourite training /fitness activity during lockdown: Prior to the lockdown we did quite a lot of running so I have been trying to keep my fitness levels up as best as possible.
Favourite activity/hobby under lockdown: I’ve taught myself to play a few tunes on the ukulele!
If you could pick any 2 Na Piarsaigh players / mentors past or present to be stuck in a house with who would they be?
Why? Eoin Hogan and Kevin Nolan. They are both playing well into their 40s so I’d like to learn how they are still so good at such an age.
First thing you will do when restrictions are lifted: Go to Kilkee for a dip!
Advise for younger players: Question everything. There’s a reason your coach has planned out a training session. Find out why and you will be able to improve a lot quicker.
Best Thing about GAA / Na Piarsaigh: Its volunteers and love for your club. The volunteers in NAP do an incredible amount of work that can often go unnoticed. Look at the underage coaches for example. The amount of time they put into developing these young stars is unreal. Thank you.
One interesting fact about yourself: I make hurleys in my spare time!
